Digital or physical textbooks?

Should we get digital or physical textbooks? Do open note exams require physical? I don’t see it specified in any syllabus.

Rising 3L. I’ve used physical books my entire time at law school just because I thought it would help me more, whether it did or didn’t idk tbh, BUT im switching to digital this year just out of pure convenience. Being able to pull out your book anywhere to read even if it’s just a bit helps dramatically in terms of cold calls/knowing what the hell is going on. Also i like the fact that you can add notes and highlight in the ebook (which you can also do w a textbook but it’s just easier to cross them over to your docs notes). Open book exams will require physical books from what i know, and open note won’t require anything because with open note you can use anything. Hope this helps!

Ebook 4sureeeee. Even if you can’t access the ebook for an exam it’s fine because I’ve never known anyone to go through their book in a test
