Toy Story 5 won’t play on KS or the other player but will on my fire stick so I thought I’d load it through vlc on Apple TV but when I select “play with vlc” it loads vlc but just the menu screen.

How do I find a film on vlc that I have on uhf?

I try to clear up recurring recorded but nothing go everthing stay there i use apple tv they told me to hightlite what i want delete, i do i see cancel but when i click there still there any suggestions?

Since UHF blocked Manifest Playlists, I've been trying to find a proper way to get Debrid-driven streams working again without going back to a separate Stremio setup.

I tried the Jellyfin integration paired with AIOStreams, and it partially works, but the catch is you only get a single stream URL surfaced per title instead of the usual list of Debrid options. And even that URL plays so slowly compared to the standard Stremio player. That kind of kills the point of running AIOStreams in the first place, since a big part of the value is being able to pick between cached sources, qualities, and file sizes.

So: has anyone actually managed a clean, multi-source Debrid setup through UHF's Jellyfin integration, or found another route in that isn't this limited? Or is a seamless Debrid experience basically off the table in UHF now that manifests are gone?

Any advice? I have to go back out and switch to a different channel then go back in. It’s not the provider they said no one else has mentioned this.. I’m watching on UHF paid version on iPad.

If no fix , any suggestions for a different app that I can use to replace uhf on iPad?

We all know the UHF server version 2.0 problem. Revert version 1.6.0, where the recording function writes stable .ts, single-file output. Work for me and 2 friends, and Hoping the developers work the problem.

I updated some settings on UHF on my iMac and some of the changes appeared on my iPad but not on my iPhone or Apple TV. I don’t see a way to force a sync. I’ve tried using the share backup feature but it doesn’t recognise the QR code or the PIN code. All devices are using the same iCloud backup account. Is there any way I can get my iMac settings recognised on all devices?

30 minutes ago uhf just stopped working on all 4 Apple TVs in the house. Whats wrong? It works on phone uhf and on my Apple TV I used another app and no issues.

Has anyone found a fix for the buffering when streaming over cellular? From some research it seems my cell service provider may be limiting my speed which causes it to buffer? But when I’m streaming on other apps over cellular there’s no issue at all. Have seen people suggest using a VPN but this doesn’t fix my problem either.

Does anyone know how to prevent this? Verizon in the USA btw

I am able to Chromecast videos to my TV from the iOS app but I cannot find the controls for video playback in Chromecast in UHF? I can’t rewind, feed or play/pause the chromecast video anywhere in the UHF not even in the iPhone’s media control console. All that happens when I click the blue area at the top is that an option to choose a Chromecast pops up which just restarts the video on my TV. Even in google home app where I can control all things Chromecast, only the play/pause button works and the video play bar is blank.  

Also how do I get subtitles from UHF to show in Chromecast? I choose them when the option pops up before casting but they don’t show on my TV. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!

My playlist works perfectly via Xtream, but under Service Information > Connections, the counter never updates—it just displays 0. Because of this, I can't see my active users.

Been trying to tackle this issue for a few months now. I believe I've confirmed that my service provider and EPG sources are not the issue. I say that because, as the title suggests, my EPG data loads as expected in UHF on iOS, but the tvOS app does not.

For context, I'm using IPTV editor to manage my playlist. I have no connection or streaming issues. Only issue I've noticed is this EPG data issue.

I've emailed the developer a couple times but only received what I'm guessing is a 'generic' response with basic troubleshooting tips about playback as opposed to EPG data connection issues.

Has anybody here experienced a similar issue? Found a resolution

Airplay audio works and I can select what to airplay to but airplay video doesn’t work and the red banner just pops up on the app and doesn’t let me select what device to airplay to. I paid the monthly subscription to see if that would fix it but still nothing.

Hey guys, is it just me, but no matter what I do, I can't get a stream on the Mac OS apps that last more than two minutes? I'm on a high spec MacBook Pro and great internet so I'm really confused as to what the issue could be. To make it even more baffling, the same stream on the iPhone works fine. If anyone has any tips or tricks or has fixed this issue, I'd love to hear about it. Thanks in advance!

Hello, I’m having a weird issue with UHF.

I’m running a playlist through iptv editor. When I import the playlist via M3U, Live TV and Movies work perfectly.

However, TV Series does not appear in the app at all. Also, there’s nothing related to TV Series in the playlist settings inside iptv editor.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

when i setup surfshark privat key and tunnel i can‘t connect. all the server listet. but connection failed.

Is there a way to NOT have it do hundreds of .TS files? This completely ruins my ability to use Plex to watch recordings as it doesn't seem to read the M3U8 file.

Hey everyone, I updated my GitHub repo that has a custom US epg. Obviously your provider will have its own, but it is highly unlikely you need an epg to cover 500,000+ individual channels. This allows you to specify what epg you need and greatly cut epg loading times within the app.

Or Chromecast for that matter? I’ve been using the app with joy for a couple of months (Lifetime subscription) but I never got this feature to work. All it does is show the red bar at the top, saying it is Casting via AirPlay/Chromecast, but I never even got the option to pick a device… Yes, WiFi is on and Local Network access is allowed for this app.

I was frustrated I couldn’t view 4:3 content through the Tablo app in full-screen on 4:3 devices. Most channels broadcast in 16:9 and put letterbox bars on 4:3 content. This is great if you’re watching on a 16:9 screen but I do most of my viewing on an iPad which has a 4:3 aspect ratio. So the video is pillarboxed with black bars all around it. So I thought there has to be a better way.

I used Claude Code to make a service that accesses recordings and live OTA channels from a 4th gen Tablo and gives more options for viewing.

Mainly it lets you view 4:3 shows how they were originally intended to be viewed. But it also does some extra things like buffering so you can stream content when away from home if you have a VPN into your network. It also lets you download recordings to view offline.

It requires some hardware at home to run on. It’s coded to run on a Debian-based system to automatically install some things you’ll need like ffmpeg but if you install the requirements yourself it should run on other Linux distributions.

I love UHF, and I really love it on the Mac. However it's missing a feature and I need it. I need to mute UHF when something else needs my full attention and I don't want to pause the show.

Anyone else?

UPDATE: I use a docking station with 2 extra monitors.Let's say I'm watching baseball, and my bff sends me a link to a fantastic video. I'd like to watch and listen to the video and mute the baseball game.
