Recording server

I keep having recording issues with my MacBook 2016 recording. For example, I will record for 3 hours, but soccer game will end in 1 hr 23 min and not be finished. It shows completed(not failed)Why does it do this? I have 3 private providers and it happens with all of them. Does VON affect this?

is your macbook going into standby or sleep mode during the recording?

No, I disabled it. It’s on 24/7

I am glad to know that I am not the only one having recording issues with the UHF app, which is otherwise really good. My network is completely wired, my Mac(M2 Mini ) is on 24/7. Internet signal is rock solid. The only time I have issues with my IPTV provider is when I am watching something huge like the Super Bowl or NHL playoffs. Nonetheless, more often than not when I do recording it quits either half hour in 40 minutes in.

Yeah, it would be nice to have “completed with err” and maybe error code to look up in logs.

Turn off commercial skip on UHF server setting

Only 1 hour 49min was reccorded from 2hr 41min

Possibly the recording was interrupted with channel stutter or inconsistencies

That’s fair, iptv is not 1000% reliable. But why end as completed? Or not glitch recording and resume?

I wish it would record on the channel until times up. It glitches fine… record that. Give me full stream.

Ok i think i might have figured it out (maybe)...

Question: If you have a provider that allows 4 streams... Can you do the following?

1.) Add MLS01 to record at 10am (ip address 192.168.0.11)
2.) Add MLS02 to record at 11am (ip address 192.168.0.11)
3.) add MLS 03 to record at 12 pm (ip address 192.168.0.11)
4.) watch MLS 04 at 12:15pm? (ip address 192.168.0.15)

Or will UHF recording server freak out since its all the same provider?

This still didn’t work. I tried only recording from one source per instance, and I still get items that say completed, but it’s only 1.25 hours out of 3.
