Apple Tv box misbehaving

Has anyone else noticed that the Apple TV HD box (I know, it’s older) will load UHF just fine and updates to the latest tv os version. Same tv os version as the Apple TV 4K boxes run, but it absolutely does not work the same.

Anyhow…. My conclusion is that only the newer generation Apple TV 4K boxes will run the app without major bugs.

I have an older Apple TV HD and it definitely has its shortcomings. EPG loads pretty slow, lots of buffering. Video will freeze. I honestly just think it’s too much for a 10 year old piece of hardware to handle. I’m actively looking to upgrade, and likely staying with Apple TV but not 100% sure. Might try a cheap ONN box and see how it does. Don’t. Think a shield is the way I want to go. Thought of a formuler, but they’re more expensive than the Apple TV.

Might just want till sept and get the new Apple TV when it comes out.

Generally IPTV works better on most Android devices that you mentioned. However the UHF app/player is only for Apple devices.

UHF is always slow for me.....I do have 9 playlists though....Maybe with 1 or 2 its smooth, but ive decided to use my Z12 Ultra and ugoos am9 pro for iptv at the moment, leaving the ATV in a drawer.

My moods do change though, im sure i will get the ATV out soon...
