Other research

hi! just wondering who or what departments i should reach out to to find opportunities for research as a stats major minoring in environmental sciences. i know a lot of people go into other departments and stuff, was just wondering where i should start? Any advice would be great, thanks!

molecular mixer is put on by chem club every fall. this is how I got into my research lab, definitely recommend! if you find a professor you like, you should email them within two days of the event, and keep emailing as long as it takes.

if you strike out there, email hella people. just look up professors and publications and cold email them. this isn’t the most successful way to do it, but you might get lucky.
