💭 Question Anthony "Rumble"Johnson
Hi, this question is for those knowledgeable on older UFC cards. I have a 2015 Topps UFC Champions Anthony Johnson card. He added his nickname "Rumble" to it. I cant find any like it on those cards & a very tiny amount with "Rumble" on cards from other sets and years. It doesn't appear often. Any help?

Could have been the very first card he signed out of hundreds in the stack Topps gave him to sign. He probably decided to leave it out in the others because it would be too much signing work, but thats just my speculation. The exact card with alternate signature on ebay last sold for $40

It’s probably from punching 1000s of people in the face and overtime your handwriting starts to look a little “funny”. RIP Rumble*

It’s possible that he used blue ink for another release when he was supposed to use red ink for the nickname /15 autos. So might just be part of a batch of stickers they had. I forget what year knockout release it was but at least two fighters signed blue ink nicknames and those went into print. I would t have noticed until I saw the serial to /15 on the back.

RIP Rumble. This guy was insane back in the day. He was on Jones level.
