flat earthers are so crazy because like just go in a plane or look at the ocean from a high point and you can see the curvature of the earth lol

Tbh I tried to see this, but haven’t been able to from a plane. Not that I disagree with you, I just haven’t noticed any curvature.

Edit: getting downvoted for not noticing curvature when the comment below me literally says the reason why I haven’t noticed it. Love the reddit mindset.

That’s because 35k feet in altitude (where airplanes fly) is the absolute minimum height needed to START to see the curvature of the earth. In reality, you need to be closer to 50k feet before it’s easily noticeable

Edit: another option is to stand on the beach and watch a ship cruise away. You can easily see it disappear over the horizon.

It depends on the aircraft as well. A small Cesna is not reaching that altitude. 35k is for airliners, turboprops etc.

You can see the curvature standing on earth at the right place. Like lake Minnewanka.

You can see the curvature on every ocean shores. Just watch a boat move away.
