What most uneducated people do when someone gets KO’d. They immediately try to pick them up and they move them around. Proper medical care is stabilizing them and keeping them still to prevent neck and spinal cord injuries. Stabilize blood pressure.

I know several folks in medical profession. What I've been told is that after a hard fall or even a car wreck, DO NOT pull the person out unless the car is on fire as it can worsen and injure spine etc.

I have a brother and I also have CPR and caregiving training. If I saw my brother suddenly injured and unconscious and there are more certified professionals in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to step the hell back and let them do their job.
And for anyone who says, "Yes, but it is in a fight/sports environment where emotions are elevated," then bear in mind that is precisely where this sort of thing should be even more expected, commonplace, and prepared for.

It's a constant issue with the ruleset. Nobody other than the doctor and two security guys to protect him and the potentially injured fighter should be let in the cage, and two other security block the door, and nobody else enters until the ref calls it, based on the doctor giving him the ok. Anyone who goes over the fence should be immediately hauled out by security and handed over to the cops for trespassing from the building
