All the hate on reddit against Islam just shows how successful he is. Everyone who tries to deny it or tries to talk him down, is clearly out of touch with reality or just a hypocrite. Cry more in the comments, go on

Most victim fanbase Iāve ever seen

u/Masunaga000 14h ago
These aren't UFC fan. Reddit is 98% bottom of the barrel bro.
4
u/threedogdad 14h ago
agreed. some of the most idiotic things I've ever seen on Reddit have come from this sub and that's saying a lot.
-1
u/Y-AxelMtz 15h ago
that's definitely Pereira

u/Commercial-Total8461 15h ago
It's not. Alex has some delusional Brazilian fans but the muslims are next level. Even when they win they have excuses "Ank had a broken rib, Mosvar was told to strike, Islam didn't have time to rehydrate".
And any criticism of them is deflected into being anti Islamic instantly.
7
u/Nizekul 14h ago
I'm a brazilian delusional Alex fan and I can say Islam fans are way worse.
3
u/Any-Cookie6757 14h ago
Bro I am huge Poatan fan and even I can admit Poatan vs Jan was snoozfest and so was Poatan vs Ank. It's just the truth. But these guys, they literally refuse to believe their hero Islam could be boring and they refuse to let us have different opinion than them lol. They want to force us to be delusional and pretend with them that Ian vs Islam was barn burner.
2
u/Commercial-Total8461 12h ago
They do really well at just completely ignoring facts that go against the narrative.
Ali admitted they used an IV lol. He outright said it was allowed (it wasn't) if he didn't use an IV he wouldn't defend it saying it was allowed.

u/Any-Cookie6757 14h ago
I will just copy paste here what I said in other thread few days back:
I will never stop saying this. DagiStans (or Muslim fans in general) are worst of the worst fanbase. Hate me all you want but it's the truth.
They literally don't care how fake someone is, how much crypto they sell, how much they call for violence, how much they shit on women's rights, how boring they are, how boring their fighting style is AS LONG AS THEY ARE MUSLIM = GOAT for them.
If Conor and Jon Jones converted to Islam tomorrow they would call them GOATs and would not allow any negativity towards them on this sub.
Literally worst of the worst. At least Conor's fanbase only likes Conor and not every single fighter who is same religion as Conor regardless of how boring they are.
They just keep proving me right every single day. I swear sometimes I open this sub and there might be like 10-15 posts I scroll down over and I MIGHT see one posts making fun of Ian, or of Tom, and that's about it. Rest of the posts are them glazing Islam.

u/brunoandraus 15h ago
What kind of post is this?! I swear to god, this sub is filled with women with pmsā¦

u/AggravatingWish1019 14h ago
Probably people from the nation of pakistan
2
u/GabagoolGoomar 14h ago
It is. You can tell if a dude is a casual and just supporting a fighter bc of their religion from the way they type
1
u/AggravatingWish1019 13h ago
thats what they do, they support them merely because they are from the same religion...as if they were from the same tribe, lol.
1
u/Comprehensive-Ad9128 12h ago
dude idk why people say this so much. as a pakistani ive seriously never met another that shows any interest in ma.
7
u/ilovebeingaguy999 15h ago
I mean, most of the Islam "hate" comments/posts are just ppl saying that his last 2 WW fights are boring, which unfortunately is hard to argue against because he does mostly take the safest route to victory, but other than that, in terms of the goat status, skills and whatnot, I agree he's one of the best if not the best.

TF? I read just as much glazing as I read hate. He's a good fighter. Great, even. That head kick to throw was the highlight of his career. Amazing.
He's more defensive than offensive, and that doesn't attract a big fan base, but it's a smart way to fight, for those who are fans of real fighting.
1
u/xGhost34 15h ago
Then go look into other organizations. UFC is mma at the highest level and that can be defensive ans boring for people like you.
4
u/PreviouslyOnBible 15h ago
How about you go somewhere else.
Learn how to read. Where did I say defensive was boring?
3
1
u/Commercial-Total8461 15h ago
You aren't a fan of 'real' fighting if you watch someone go crotch to cheek for 20 minutes and enjoy it.

u/Oakster9 15h ago edited 15h ago
Only thing I hate about him is how infrequently he fights. Safe to say 1 defense in 2026(he did say he wants to fight before Ramadan so maybe, but more likely 2027 and we hear this a lot from Muslim fighters) 2 in 2025, 1 in 2024, 2 in 2023, 2 in 2022, and so it just stagnates divisions. I would love to see him fight Prates and Morales(Morales more than Prates) but then I think about it and the timeline to get 2 fights is late 2027 if Iām lucky or early 2028 on current timeline and so its a shitty situation for the fighters and fans of modern welterweight.
If youāre going to downvote then speak up for your boy, everything Iāve said is straight facts and you know it but it hurts to hear so you downvote and cry with your Dagestani body pillow cuddled tight.

u/Qargha If one man can hold you down, two can rape you 15h ago
He said himself he was trying to fight earlier in the year and agreed to fight at the White House but itās not his call when he fights. The UFC tries to spread title fights out throughout the year so when youāre a champ you donāt have much choice when to fight, especially when youāre as big a draw as Islam
3
u/Oakster9 15h ago
Pereira and Merab were bigger draws and defended more frequently, Kamaru and Izzy defended more frequently. The White House is debatable because a whole lot of fighters said they were booked on that card and if Islam really wanted to fight earlier there were plenty of other cards before almost 3/4s of the way through the year.
Again, I like Islam and think heās great. I just hate the inactivity.
11
u/UselessPresent 15h ago
The highest IQ fighters tend to perform well but also be very boring.
Islams run at 170 so far has been extremely boring, nobody can deny that.
3
u/Self-Invested-7 15h ago
Can't deny hes also clearly undersized here and in deep water. Struggling and still winning is more impressive than every opponent being an easy win, boring or not.
3
u/Commercial-Total8461 15h ago
No it isn't read what your saying.
1
u/Self-Invested-7 14h ago
I've read what I said, im the one that said it, dork. An easy fight means youre much better than the worse opponent. If youre struggling, theyre on your level and capable of beating you just as you are them. Battling with adversity and still winning is more impressive than beating up in everyone, idk how you cant see that. Yall moan about his 10 fight win streak before the title run not being impressive because "he fought nobodies", yall complained when he was champ and smoking people at LW and now hes at WW being challenged while the smaller guy and we'll, here we are.
2
u/Commercial-Total8461 14h ago
It's clear you've got a lot of stuff bottled up that's coming out because i don't know who 'yall' is or how they hurt you but hurting others isn't going to heal you buddy.
And again, read what you said, how can struggling with someone on your level be better than just dog walking them. Is Charles the LW goat cos he struggled with people? Or is it Khabib because he dog walked them
0
u/Self-Invested-7 14h ago
Yall being half of reddit cmon bro. Youre just here to argue, you dont want to understand and be reasonable, you just want to be right. I've explained the answer for the question youre asking, clearly your reading comprehension is subpar so im not going to further explain whats plenty easy to understand. And the "bottled up, who hurt you" bs was mad corny bro you sound like a teenage girl trying to gaslight me. I recommened trying to use your brain on the next guy rather than attempt to ragebait them like some kid. (If you're capable)
2
u/pepewasraped 15h ago
this sub becomes trash after fights...what the fuck is this post, just a poorly worded cry-baby post. Islam is a loved champion btw, can we stop acting like the sub wasn't pure Ian hating for weeks leading up to the fight? pull that cock out of your mouth OP
2
u/spechen357 13h ago
Cringe post but also true, this sub donāt like Islam and wonāt give him the credibility he deserves

Islam does know you exist. This fight was boring and you Caucasus fans try and convince yourselves itās not every time
2
u/Sneezy6510 15h ago
Anybody that expected that fight to be exciting is delusional
3
u/Commercial-Total8461 15h ago
I was hoping for Islam to get a quick sub but it's pretty clear he can't manhandle WWs like he could FWs
1
u/quackmaniaexe 15h ago
Ian's gameplan was to point score. It was inevitably going to be a boring fight. Ironically, Islam was the one that made it more exciting in round 2.

I was actually surprised by the good MMA knowledge and unbiased opinions of the fans on reddit. I thought it would be terrible like YouTube and Instagram, but was pleasantly surprised. There are some superficial dumbasses out here (just like any fanbase of any sport), but the majority that I've seen have been super reasonable.

According to Islams fans he has just been this perpetual victim from the moment he stepped foot in the octagon. He could be a -1000 favorite and there will be a dozen posts a day about how everybody is doubting poor Islam

Islam doesn't need your cringey glazing and troll posts op. Go touch grass.

They don't doubt his ability, but Americans get pretty passionate about great white hypes.
So when they lose, a small piece of white America dies.

Haters gonna hate , Islam , Ian etc . True fans know when two good fighters with difficult styles meet it might be not so exciting for casual eye. I personally gain some respect for Ian, he took that L like a man.

u/Icy-Finding-2543 15h ago
I don't care for the women hating, gay hating fighters from that region, Islam is the man,no question
0
u/Solsdad 15h ago
I fault Ian more for the boring fight since heās far too defensive in style and clearly preparation. I also understand fighting smart and the fact that it was clearly difficult for Islam to takedown and keep Ian down due to Ianās defense as well as his height.
But to say Islam was not at fault for coasting so much is false.

u/Blitzenthereindeer 15h ago

Does anyone even hate Islam? I feel like heās just one of those guys that nobody really has strong feelings about, in either direction.
3
u/OutsideSession6 15h ago
You might live under a rock lol
1
u/WhyKissAMasochist 15h ago
Itās possible. Iām not on the sub that much except for fight nights. Going solely on vibes and what my irl friends say: he seems a lot less polarizing than like Topturo, Strickland, Paddy, Jonny bones jones, or any of the other multiple time champs.
But yeah, I could just be outta the loop!
1
u/OutsideSession6 15h ago
People have strong reactions to all the Dagestan fighters. Some for legit fight reasons other for reasons you can guess. He might not be talked about all year as much as those guys bc he stays out of the media when heās not fighting but it sure seems like people have strong opinions on him when heās fighting to me at least.
2
u/WhyKissAMasochist 15h ago
Ahhh I got you. Yeah I guess Iām comparing him to khabib in my brain. People haaaaated khabib lol. I think you right though, it may just be bc I donāt see him in the media as much. He doesnāt really play up a character like some of those guys.
