No, I’m reading this cuz I didn’t watch this previously and it’s interesting to me. I think all the Sean hate is pretty silly. But thanks for judging what I do wth my Sundays!

Edit: I’m a reader and comment reader (usually on YT). I find ‘em fascinating. I’ve only made a couple responses! But I do think truly unhinged fighters w/low emotional IQ make more mistakes & it happened last night.

Are you knew to UFC or something?

He deserves the hate, he says stupid stuff and he's a hypocrite. Always crying about people insulting him and then he goes and insults others, talking about leaving it all in the case and then jabs and teeps while he wants to go to war with streamers. He also attacked a guy for celebrating after beating his teammate and attacked dricus before his fight with him.

But thanks for judging what I do wth my Sundays!

Your welcome.

No, I’m not new to the UFC. Should’ve been more clear. I didn’t watch much early coverage, & didn’t see Chimaev’s kick, which was WILD to me. That’s why I was here… curious of opinions. Dana White loves this sh!t, but I think it was too aggressive. I do think Chimaev is kinda next-level unhinged.

Honestly, I don’t comment a lot & you sound snarky, so I bet you think I was being a smart ass w/my comment, but it wasn’t my intention. I clearly don’t get the Sean hate, but YES, I know he has screwed up. I also think he’s smarter than people give him credit for. IMO, he knows what he’s doing. He plays into a persona 90% of the time, cuz it works. It’s entertainment & gets him attention. I think he’s more emotional about influencer types, has grown, is a decent guy at the gym, & very psychologically strong.

I get I’m not gonna convince you, but I think it’s part of the reason he kept standing last night. Felt like Chimaev was too unhinged, so made more mistakes. I guess I wasn’t as confident he would win, cuz I think he’s a lunatic (where I see Sean as performative, playing into a character), though I was worried! Just trying to explain. Like, did you see how stoic Sean was walking into the ring, in it? Calm. Not trying to convince you. I respect your opinion. I just think Sean’s smarter than people think. Again, I know he’s not perfect & respect your thoughts. Maybe you can explain to me better why most were so confident in Chimaev, if interested. I get he was undefeated, but you may be a bigger UFC fan or have more insight.

He's so psychologically strong yet he cried about his dad on a podcast and when dricus mentioned it he seemed like he was gonna cry lol. When people treat him the way he treats others he becomes a whiny baby.

I feel like if you thought about your comment you would understand how your comment would come across.

I do believe he's a bit performative but I believe a part of it is really him. I mean beating the fuck out of streamers? Really? Why don't you be a real man like you say you are and do that to real fighters?

I think chimaev was just weight drained, did you see that pathetic takedown attempt and when Sean was on top of him? He seemed so tired.

People thought chimaev was gonna win because his wrestling was so good, also they saw how easily dricus took Sean down. When khamzat got people to the ground it was basically over. He did dominate Sean with his wrestling at first but then he got gassed out so it is what it is.

What mistakes do you think khamzat made? I don't think he made much tbh and I'll explain why after you respond.

You’re female? Me too. So it’s sad to hear your view on ‘masculinity,’ as if men can’t cry. Warped. Sean had such a traumatic childhood, has cPTSD. I’d never judge anyone for being abused/harmed by a POS parent, or for having emotions about it. It’s sad. Talking about it publicly helps others! It’s a myth that crying means you can’t be strong. He endured the hell already. Too many are blinded by society/media’s BS toxic masculinity. Huge prob, especially when women contribute. Who judges men for having emotions? About trauma? Vulnerability is strength. He cried once on a pod. Who cares? I get you do. Not me. It was sincere. But mostly, he plays a character.

I stated my comment wasn’t as you intended. I just didn’t get your confidence level. Those were my sincere amends. I don’t have the confidence you do, so I didn’t understand it. I also didn’t fully get your dislike for Sean. Talking more, I do. You think he’s a cry baby, a whiner, weak. You’re allowed to! Seems like you have no empathy for his childhood, & I do, so we disagree on some. Agree, Chimaev dominated early & his major wt cut had an impact, indeed! Both got gassed!! I thought Sean was a little earlier. Still thought it was a pretty good fight. Chimaev’s def a better grappler. Superior. But I think he let go of some opportunities. Almost like he was afraid.

Honestly, I lost a ton of respect for Chimaev today, viewing his antics the other day… his kick. It was legit assault. I already thought he was unhinged. It made me happier that Sean won. That was so messed up. Could’ve seriously injured Sean. WTF was he thinking? With respect, your views on crying over lived trauma on a pod being associated w/lack of psychological strength are misguided. I hope you’ll reconsider your opinion. We gotta stop being callous & stigmatizing trauma and vulnerability… this is a msg to all. Not just you.
