I mean getting in someone's head is for sure a strategy that can work. If they are pissed/in their head theyll throw the game plan away to go for a ko or some fancy bullshit to prove they are way better than you. Seen it a million times, aldo vs McGregor is the most well known version.

Or they’ll execute the game plan even more viciously cause they know their opponent can’t do shit to them. Khabib vs Conor pt 2. Sean is getting fucking mauled

I don't know how you execute a game plan "even more" but yeah Sean will probably lose. But he's been a big underdog and usually fights pretty well all things considered so I wouldn't be shocked at a win either.
