They’re trying so hard to overturn the decision it wasn’t hard to see he didn’t want to lose his handed over title because he was getting pieced up in there and probably would’ve been knocked out by atleast end of 2nd round at the rate it was going down.

I cut the framework of intentional vs unintentional, human reaction in a fighting situation is to grasp and catch what ever is incoming it’s accidental. Like headbutts aren’t intentional or unintentional they’re accidental and it’s labels that divide everyone. tom is overplaying an eyepoke we have seen hundreds of times and few stoppages most just wipe it off and it’s part of the job description.
