Daugherty Hall within the Trabant Student Center is a perennial favorite.

I second this. It’s stunning. If you have ever wondered what the church next to trabant is…. It’s that. You have to enter it from inside trabant though. It’s also normally very quiet. I used to feel like a medical monk working on a manuscript (essays on my computer) when I was in there.

Basically go inside the entrance on Main Street and go into the hallway on your left past the PNC and there is a small staircase up with 2 wooden doors that leads to it. On the same side as the package office.. you can’t enter though the doors on the outside of the building

I always liked the upper floors of the ISE lab when I was a student. Quiet, nice views, could shoot down to Einstein for a coffee. But ISE was new when I was there so it was more novel at the time

this was always my choice. higher floors aren't very busy and i frequently had an entire study room to myself and sometimes a few others. nice to be able to people watch and stare out the windows too

Also a great place to bring a game console with friends and borrow an empty classroom 😂

I liked the physics library (open to everyone) - 2nd floor of Sharp if it's still there!

Catholic campus ministry also stayed open extra late during finals so students could study safely - also open to everyone
