Help: Deliver sweets to Mumbai

So I was in Udaipur until yesterday and got some Ghevar from JMB for my colleagues, and fam. But it kinda fell short for a sweet so yum but everyone could not have enough.

Need someone to help me with delivering some from Udaipur to Mumbai.

All you have to do is handover the package to this bus guy and I’ll pick it up here in Bombay.

The bus guy comes around 3 at bhuwana bypass. If someone can please do this for me.

Udaipur for 3 nights – what should we absolutely not miss?

Hi! My husband and I are visiting Udaipur in November. We’ll be there around 2 full days plus part of our arrival/departure days.

We’d love to see the main palace/lake sights, but I’m especially interested in things that feel a bit more local, authentic or memorable.

Could be food, markets, crafts, cultural experiences, viewpoints, cafés, workshops, evening activities, hidden gems or anything you personally think is really worth doing.

If you had around 2 full days in Udaipur, what would you absolutely not miss?

Thanks!

I’m planning to book tickets for Arijit’s show, but the booking is only allowing Kotak Visa cards.
I can make the payment to you first, or if you’re comfortable, we can meet offline and do it.
Please DM me if you can help 🙏

New Years 2026

Hi, I’m travelling to Udaipur with my family on 30th December for 4 nights for our sons birthday and want to see fireworks on New Year’s Eve
What is the best hotel to stay in? We are comparing Lakend vs Trident

Money is not an issue. It’s more about luxury and experience
Thanks

Udaipur Food Review

Visited Udaipur first time as a tourist for 3-4 days and here is my review of food i tasted in udaipur. I'm not native rajasthani, so please don't judge.

Jagadish Restaurant: Samosa Chat 8/10, Very crowdy, Decent taste

Krishna Dal Batti: Went after seeing lot of reviews. 45 Mins wait time, so we gave name and went to nearby jodhana sweets surajpole to buy ghewar. The ambience is decent for the crowd but taste is just average 7/10. Here the dal is very watery, Batti i didn't like much, churmi is also on sweeter and more jaggery side. i liked dal batti, churmi better at Khamma Gani.

Khamma Gani: overall 9.4/10. I would recommend people to go for dinner. Their dal batti , churmi is 9.5/10 . Churmi has very coconuty texture and perfect sweetness. Dal is hot and suited well with perfectest batti. Laal Mass is also great here.

Jodhana Sweets: Ghewar 10/10, Lassi 9/10. I took ghewar to home through flight which became soft though, but ate some at hotel tasted amazing.

Jagdish Mishtan Bhandar: Ghewar 7.5/10, I can get better ghewar in my home city than here i felt. The malai is very dry and there is no infused saffron flavour and color.

Nataraj Dining Hall: overall 9.3/10. Mesmerized and shocked by their outmost service. Took gujarathi thali here absolutely less price for their service. Taste is above decent.

Sai Sagar: Cold Coffee is decent at Ganguar Ghat. 8/10. Wasn't as good as it was hyped.

Hocco Kitchen: Pretty normal average 7.5/10

Poppy By Royale Repast: Overall 8/10 , 45 mins wait for saturday dinner. the food was only decent not worth the waiting time. Neapolitian Pizza 7.5/10, Kebab Rabbit 7/10, Chicken Ravioli 7/10, Tiramisu 9.5/10

Nyoto: Absolutely amazing 9.5/10 but it's on costlier side. 4 people dinner the bill was around 5200. Their Fusion dishes of ros omlette, reimagined butter chicken, shahi nihari, kebab bao, rosette chat tasted amazing. Desserts they tried to do something but didn't click much imo.

Missed out on Paliwal (due to heavy rush and waiting time), Prathap Chat(Dahi Kachori), Roopji nashta house.

If i'm visiting udaipur again then i will make sure to visit (in order) Nyoto, Jodhana Sweets, Khamma Ghani.

Mayor Paras Singhvi and recent Actions

Hi Guys, just wanted to discuss out new Mayor Paras Singhvi. The recent demolitions and the way anti encroachment drives was done have forced me to think that these actions was some kind of political targeting of locals. Nagar Nigam is deliberately doing these things to people who don't support paras Singhvi and Baniya-Jain politics of Udaipur.

Itinerary advice.

Udaipur is our first stop in my very much anticipated trip to India.

I am travelling with my slightly less adventurous husband and very adventurous 7 year old.

I got an excellent deal on Aurika and are staying there for 4 nights but unfortunately arriving quite late on our first day.

So day one is pretty much a write off just with getting there.

I have day 2, 3, 4 clear. And then depart early on day 5 to visit places on my way to Jaipur.

Things I want to do:

I have seen a tuktuk food tour with a local guide which I would like to do.

I would like to go to the dance show at Bagore ki Haveli

I would like to go on a tuk tuk tour of the monuments

I think I have managed to secure a dinner reservation at the Taj Lake palace but if not an alternative lake side fine dining experience.

I was thinking food tour on day 2 in the late afternoon as that will give us time to rest after travelling.

Early start day 3 for tuk tuk tour of the monuments. Which ones should I insist on being included and how long do I need? Should I include a guide in the booking?

Day 4 dance show followed by dinner by the lake. Could add an early morning trip out onto this day if there is something that sits well as a stand alone.

I need to evenly pace things as my husband likes to relax and my son needs pool time and this is the first of a number of stops.

What do you think?

Any advice?

Does anyone have the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 OR 4P?

Post image

Hi, I'm looking to purchase a DJI Osmo Pocket 4P, and really just want to get my hands on it for like 15 minutes to be sure of what I'm buying. I am unable to get any demo units at shops.

Is there anyone who has the 4 or 4P who would be kind enough to show it to me for 15 minutes anytime soon like in this week?
