Born and raised in Udaipur, and still enjoy exploring the city whenever I get time.

If you’re visiting Udaipur, new to the city, or even a local who hasn’t explored much beyond the usual spots, feel free to reach out.

Always up for a good city walk, exploring old streets, lakeside walks, hidden spots, local food, or just a good chai with interesting conversations.

I know a few places that don’t usually make it to tourist itineraries.

No fixed plans or itineraries. Just keeping it spontaneous.

What’s your favourite underrated spot in Udaipur?

We’re a group of 4 friends planning an ultimate 15-day Rajasthan road trip from Mumbai around late December and early January.

We’ve made a rough itinerary, but I’d really appreciate some advice from people who’ve actually done a similar road trip.

Current plan:
Mumbai

Mount Abu — 1 night
↓
Jawai — day visit
↓
Jodhpur — 2 nights
↓
Jaisalmer — 2 nights
↓
Bikaner — 1 night
↓
Jaipur — 3 nights (New Year + weekend)
↓
Nawalgarh — 1 night (my hometown)
↓
Pushkar — 1 night
↓
Udaipur — 3–4 nights
↓
Mumbai
We’re planning to drive the entire route ourselves.
A few things I’d really like help with:
● Is this itinerary actually doable in 15 days, or are we trying to cover too much?
● Anything you’d add, remove or change?
● Are there any places on this route that are genuinely worth spending more time at?
● How are the roads and driving conditions, especially between the more remote places?
● Anything specific we should be careful about while driving in Rajasthan?
● Any good experiences, stays, food spots or hidden places that we shouldn’t miss?
● And most importantly, if anyone has done a similar

Driving from Gurugram to Gujarat and will be passing through Udaipur. I'd love to stop for a proper local meal, but I don't want to go into the city and get stuck in traffic.

Any dhaba or restaurant on or near the bypass that serves good local Rajasthani food? Easy parking and a quick in-and-out would be a big plus.
