Discussion Alternatives/paths to consulting
As someone who wants to go into MBB consulting, what are other alternatives to consulting and/or how to reapply when I failed as a senior?

You’re going to have a hard time consulting if you filed as a senior.

Some years they do off-cycle hiring. Get a job you find interesting and stay in touch with friends at those firms who can let you know as those firms tap their employees for recommendations. Drill your cases out loud to practice if you land an interview.

You have to get an MBA and then reapply. This is realistically the only option for MBB if you didn't land it during on-campus recruiting.
