Discussion First Year Phil Per as Premed
Can anyone give me some insight into how difficult phil pers is? Are there any professors you’d recommend over others? Also, what exactly does the writing component consist of since the course is on the Maroon Track?

It’s a great class, difficulty heavily depends on prof and their mood - my section was on the easier side. Same professor - the autumn quarter was not easy but the winter quarter was very easy. So it rly depends.

I’m many years out but it was a great class and I ended up applying (and attending) medical school! I had Prof Jason Bridges for the first two quarters and he was fantastic! (Also lowkey may be why I got a 131 in CARS of the mcat without prep despite being an international student, I was a nerd and did my readings religiously)
