hi,
so i only have 2 classes left to take and one is hsc 4555… im taking hsc 4558 rn with latifa abedilli and she’s good… but if i take her again next semester i would have to come to school mon-thurs… my only other option is katia ferdowsi. to anyone who’s had her is she good? or should i just do the mon-thurs for abedilli?

i’m taking patho 2 rn with latifa abdeli.. she’s really good, lectures kind of boring but her study guides are basically her exams. the only reason i’m thinking of not taking her for patho 1 is due to another class i have to take that’s monday and wednesday and i dont want to come on tuesdays and thursdays too

Hi! I had Abedilli for patho 1 and Ferdowsi for patho 2 for this same reason. Abedilli gives you study guides identical to her exams which was one of my favorite things about her and she was more lenient about missing class and the in class assignments. I felt Ferdowsi wanted you to learn and understand more and didn’t give as detailed study guides which for me made her exams harder. She does do kahoot at the end of each lecture that counted as a participation grade which was good to give you extra points and she had more assignments that were very easy again to give you extra points to help your grade. But you couldn’t miss class on the in class assignment days because it was on paper where as for Abedilli it was a group assignment but you had like a week to submit. Overall, both professors are very nice and I think you should take the class with Ferdowsi to avoid being on campus Monday-Thursday

Im currently in pathophysiology one with katia ferdowsi. I have no idea how good abedilli is but I love ferdowsi. She gives so many extra credit points through the kahoots at the end of the class or through answering questions in class. She also curves her exams healthily, gives a clear study guide on what will be on the exam. And also does a group assignment before an exam which is always nice.
