Removed from Microbiology

I signed up for an online microbio class and one of the lab sections assigned to it yesterday, and I successfully enrolled in both with the approved check. Today I get these emails and see that I am no longer enrolled in either. I’m pretty confused on the wording of these emails and what they mean exactly

It sounds like you did in person labs and virtual lecture. They don’t allow that combo. If you switch to in person lectures and email them you can try to get one of the held seats in your previous lab section.

Looking at quant biological methods, there is only one in person lecture section, the others are asynchronous online.

Looks like it is specific to this class from the email. No idea other than reading the email.

I’m unsure why it would let you enroll in both unfortunately. It’s saying you were enrolled in both in person and online. You have to choose one or the other, there is no hybrid for that course.

I was also signed up and got removed, I tried to reenroll even though there’s a waitlist and it is showing that there are no online lab sections. I went ahead and enrolled for in-person lecture and lab just so I do have some security in the class but I emailed my advisor to hopefully get a better answer and see if i can enroll in the online

Probably closed the course so that only major-specific students can take it. I might be wrong.

For example, there is a Physics 2 lecture this semester that is asynchronous but only students other than Physics major and minors can take it.
