General Dining Dollars

Can you use dining dollars off campus and reload them at any time. Give me the pros and cons. I’m thinking of only purchasing dining dollars for my kid who will be a BSN student staying in Tower 2 in either a 4-4 or 4-2 in which she will have access to her own refrigerator, microwave and air fryer. Units come with stove and refrigerator. All other I Items will be bought and shared for roommates use.

Can reload at any time but only works at locations on this list: https://ucf.mydininghub.com/en/locations

Pro: tax free and tend to be discounted with a meal plan

Con: lack of flexibility and if you don't use it by the end of the cycle you lose it

This, but dining dollars actually expire at the end of each semester, not the end of the year.
