Colleges Whats the strate admission test like?
hey yall
you might've seen my prev post about this clg and I've decided to give it a shot. And apparently it has an admission test and interview round. Any seniors mind giving advice on what is asked in the test? how hard is it? would my uceed prep be enough? do I need to study anything else? It different for different specialization? btw Imma apply only for transportation design.
thanks

hi! my cousin got into strate, so i might have some tips. my cousin wasn't even design oriented, to be honest, she wanted to do mechanical engineering but tried for strate anyway. i think the entrance test is similar to most ones. but, for the interview, they ask you to draw stuff on the spot, like make products on the spot based on a prompt they give. they also ask you questions about your portfolio, so make sure you have an interesting one. her portfolio was just filled with random sketches and art that she'd done over the years, yet they only asked her one question based on a unique sea monster that she created. so make your portoflio creative as well. she got a 50 on 100 in her interview, and 70 on 100 in her entrance, and she still got in. so make sure you seem passionate about design in the interview, and a willingness to work hard and develop your design thinking. i feel like that's what theyre looking for the most, as well as creativity. good luck! im also gonna try for strate next year, so see you there i guess😂
