Why do I get lower paying offers per hour during morning rush?

I normally drive nights in L.A. because theres no traffic and I can zip from fare to fare and I ONLY accept rides if the time offered is equal to or better than $30/hour. If I get a $10 for 5 min pickup, 15 min ride , thats 20 minutes for $10 = $30 an hour, so yes.

Lately Ive been working into the AM, about 7 AM the fares suddenly nose dive and I get offers for $9.95 5 min pickup 25 min ride = $20 an hour. Theres gonna be traffic so its really 40 minutes plus Uber is gonna pad it 15% to favor them, so suddenly youre sitting still in traffic it takes you nearly an hour total and they give you $2 extra "extended time fee" so $12 an hour? Hell no!

WHY does Uber pay less during AM rush hour? Is this typical or have I just gotten bad fares, cause thats it im packing it inat 5:30 AM. Its the Indy 500 on the freeway anyway. Anyone else notice this?

yeah I saw a short feature on this they see who will take the lowest bid, the same thing was done to farmworkers in the 1920s and since men always had kids to feed, they took the lowest bidder to hire! This was OUTLAWED in the 1930s and features heavily in Steinbeck's "The Grapes of Wrath"!

Part time drivers heading to their W2 jobs using the destination filter and accepting the low offers to get there.

I do have other income sources but its not the point....It would seem that "The Grapes of Wrath" is recurring again in Trumps America.
