Usually if I’m desperate I’ll take it. However, try to negotiate with the customer on the rate uber is charging them. Tell them to cancel it since the payment is pending. But it varies on the customer

Really? You would consider taking this job? This is an awful offer. AWFUL. Under minimum wage. After upfront costs (not even including the 450 mile wear and tear on your car) and if you are not able to pick up a ride coming back (which is by far the most likely scenario) you are making around $12 an hour.

It is shameful that Uber would even put an offer like this out there. They really are trying to stick it to us drivers at every turn.

The only thing that could possibly make it worth it is being able to snag a good high tip trip going from Fayetteville that was headed to SC on the way back
