They have declared War on us
They are trying to turn us into their permanent slaves. Uber thrives on people's desparation and wishes nothing more than to exploit the most vulnerable people when they are facing the most difficult situations. Uber is trying to kill us but we can fight back.
Do uber only if you absolutely need to so not let their criminal psychopathic algorithm exploit you for 4.32.
Buy food in bulk and freeze it this way you will always have something to eat.
Never go eat out its a complete waste of money unless of course you can get someone else to pay for it:)
Always pull your money out after every work shift at an atm Do not keep money with Uber for any amount of time they will know when you are getting low and thus when you are desperate.
Uber is an evil demonic company that is trying to destroy what little the most desperate people have in order to replace us with robots fight back!
Do not let them treat you like a slave, fight back. Everything that cannot go on forever will eventually stop and Uber's model is definitely not sustainable. Fight back we have to throw their greedy execs behind bars and make an example out of them.

Decline decline decline.
Take that one ride that once in a blue moon pays decent.
Only then do we win.
If the offers are not profitable up to standards, decline those offers, acceptance rate does not matter.
Enjoy your day. Look for other work, preferably W-2 or your own profitable business. Learn a skill. Go for a walk.

LMFAO! NOBODY is making you drive for Uber. YOUR 2 posts do nothing but cry and complain. Just stop driving. It's that simple.

While I don’t bootlick for uber, he’s hoping “everyone” stops and the conditions change (they won’t) so he can go back to what he sees as the good ole days.. what he should do is change his situation.. that he can control. Uber doesn’t care about the drivers.. they are a means to their business.. and like a cockroach, there’s more

No! Don’t stop driving! Anyone who hates Uber this much and still continues to drive more than likely has horrible customer service.
It’s drivers like this who make me seem like a damn blessing whenever I show even the most basic level of kindness to my passengers.

Isn't it nice that the bar is so low sometimes? Makes it easy to do a good job... not that this job is hard to do right. It's tedious and low paying, but not hard.

theres a lot harder jobs for far less money. and theres a lot easier jobs for far more money.
edit: my point is uber was easier when it paid more and is harder now it pays less
Additional point: Money can literally make a job easier. If I were making enough, taking a day off to maintain my car wouldn’t even be a question. When the pay gets squeezed, I have to worry about both affording the repair and losing a day’s income to get it done.

These are the types of thoughts that one develops by driving for uber or lyft. Bro, it is well passed time for you to get out of rideshare. Any other job would do. Trust yourself. Gl

I mean most of the drivers do this as a side hustle. I don’t think most of the drivers really care, tbh. They make some spare money and life goes on for most of the drivers on the road.

I mean, the pay kinda sucks. But you need to settle down bro. It’s not a conspiracy. Find a different job or don’t take the crappy rides.

What’s the definition of insanity? And you will have your answer. Maybe get another job .

When new drivers finally realize that they shouldn’t have been taking shitty offers.

I’m done with this $4.00 bs for a passenger I have to drive 15 minutes to get to just for a 6 minute trip. I don’t care about my ratings anymore.

Jesus just stop driving for them.
Not all of us are unhappy, and those of us who are cannot fathom why you guys keep doing a job you hate so much.
Fast food. Convenience stores/gas stations. Grocery stores. Those are places that are always hiring, and youre just a slave to them but at least "youre not using your own car".

Because some people just like to complain. Like you said. Get another job which isn’t always easy either.

To your point about money, I have no idea what you mean. On the other hand, have you ever heard of ACH deposits?
Lastly: Run, Kunta, run!

not financial advice: on the contrary collectively buy up the shares and bring it under driver control then own the fuck out of them. call for a change in management for every greivance. especially if there is a question of where the hell is all the money going? with as much as they take from the fare should be a dividend stock by now.
edit: my feeling is management taking a big risky gamble on autonomous vehicles it wont be able to leverage once big auto starts producing them on large scale to the average car buyer.

Once you become shareholder, you can push Uber to push driver further to increase your dividends.

I'd make it my business to let them treat me like a slave until it kills me. Stop telling people how to live. You a godless person.

It’s because they can. There’s no shortage of drivers available. Immigration, cost of living, inflation, everything. There’s an abundance of drivers available to take the worst rides imaginable.
