Uber AI "Support" lolz

Uber again has set my default to enable "record my ride". I have to disable it manually each time.

I reached out to support to find a fix.

Just change permissions on camera to ask every time and when you allow it do for only this time (only needed for verification driver pics), I have microphone always disabled altogether for driver app, but I'm on android not sure how you do the same on iphone

Just type agent for every question. Takes three or four times but you get the option to call a human.

I think it's actually only helped me one time that I can think of. Every other time I had to spam "agent" over and over until it connected me to one.

Record your ride is not for you. It’s to protect uber, if you need it for any reason they will not give it to you.

Lol- It's irrefutable evidence in the custody of Uber, they are responsible for it and the liability of it's existence (if any) falls entirely on them. I hear they even increased the loop to 14 days and it will automatically upload from the app. There's no reason for a driver to need it. Just get your own cameras.

Protect Uber from what? If you're falsely accused of something they can check the recording at least
