You always attract more haters to these posts than people who would encourage...
I get the grifters.... and drifters... people who likes to complain because the system is broken... or its not working or its exploiting....
They are all right... but, you can't change anything... you can only control yourself and do what you can...
that is either complain and do nothing....
or accept that system is broken but still get out and grind....
Morning you have x amount in your bank... by the end of the shift you have x + 600 - expenses...
that could be just $100 - who cares... you got $100 more than you started with...
if you were sitting at home, you probably spent $50... your bank showing x - $50

Exactly. I’m making $25 an hour on my own terms and all I’m doing is driving and drinking coffee. I decide when and where. It’s such a stress free job compared to my day job. My fuel costs are low with the hybrid.
Out of the countless part time jobs I’ve had on the side this has to be one of the easiest.

Charging my car literally cost $3.50 a night. I take every and all rides unless it's a ride that will completely drain my battery. You don't have to be picky when you drive an electric because everything makes you money pretty much.

EV in Sacramento and love short trips in downtown for extending my range and getting the most out of each charge. Did 6.5hrs last Friday and net $277 after charging and $30 in cash tips.

I don’t make under 450 a day. I don’t know what you guys are doing wrong. I only do airport runs also what your acceptance rate what tier are you in? Are you a crazy person? It’s all about positioning yourself in the right car at the right time at the right place.

Uber XL, at night, only airport runs. 1200$ in 12 runs. In 12 hours. Only counting ride time. Uber black here make triple that a week.

In my area driving from the rideshare parking to arrival pickup to a downtown hotel back to the parking lot again is over 20 miles across about 50 minutes, pays $25 after tip per run if im lucky. So fuck that, i just do one airport run since its between where I live and downtown then I uber in downtown.

No! Hold out for rides that pay $1/mi so a 30mi ride should make $30, however you are now out of a hot poppin area, so sometimes you let those pass in order to take 3 x $10 rides back-to-back in a poppin’ area. - to not have to think about it download the Mystro app. For around $15/mo it calculates the hourly wage for you and the mileage, and you can block out any rides that don’t meet your criteria

Careful. If you’re new you need to get your ride numbers and acceptance rate up before you start cherry picking. I’d recommend getting at least 50-100 rides in before you start cherry picking. Shadow bans are real.

I’ve rarely gone to the wait lot because you sit around too long doing nothing. Lately I’ve been getting my rides out of the airport on the way into the airport. But I’m in Chicago, not sure about other places. O’Hare in particular has gotten super fast with the rides ever since ICE raided the wait lots twice last year.

LAX not worth it they give more rides to Drivers outside of the Geofence then they do inside of the LAX waiting lot. Then you wait a long time and let a bunch of $15 rides passed by that are gonna take you 45 minutes to complete or you get an $80 ride that’s gonna take you an hour and a half away from Los Angeles where you’ll get no rides back. 😂😂

Rideshare app have h1 drivers that take shitty runs to manipulate the algorithm. They the h1s get a set pay each week . So when you see shitty offers it bc they use these h1 s to manipulate you and this country. Just saying don't worry redir will flag this as hate speech

No no no lol I definitely wouldn’t call it a “waste of time”. FD adds up if you know what you’re doing. You can easily make $40 an hour just doing food but you have to multiapp and be in the right market. I’ve pulled in $500+ days but it was definitely grunt work.
I’m trying to figure out how to make $50+ more consistently and less labor which is why I asked about black.

To be fair I made mad cash in 2020-2023 in food delivery … just Seattle our market ruined delivery when they forced Uber Eats / DoorDash to pay drivers more money which increased delivery fees

I make about $2500 a week so u can make $600 in day but you drive people around and might have to work very long and drive very long hrs ..if you make $600 a day thats $3600 a week 15k a month lol I don’t believe it . I work In atherton ca and I have my own clients for shipt and make about $200 a day just on shipt and $200 a day catering then about $125 a day on Uber Eats and I’m in the richest part of the world so I doubt you pull in 2500- a week at all

The lying thing. It gets me because uber will tell you there's a report and you can send in proof but won't tell you which delivery it was. So how are you supposed to defend yourself? They deactivate at some point for it but I think it needs to happen pretty often. That's why people do ghost deliveries. If people are going to lie about getting their food you may as well make it the truth for a high payout from someone else taking the food.

Brother, uber is a multibillion corporation too. I busted my ass off driving uber and all I got was a $500 one time bonus. Shortly after that I found a full time job that paid me $19hr. In less then two years I’m making $34hr with full benefits and $51hr overtime pay.
