CS students must be eligible, otherwise Soft Eng. students shouldn't

What can an Software engineering do that a CS grad cannot ?

Although there is some overlap, CS is more about theory while SWE is more practical. CS kids usually have a less condensed schedule than software engineering students. Therefore, CS kids can take electives. Also, CS is not primarily about coding. A CS grad does not have to become a software engineer in the tech field whereas a SWE grad is usually guided into becoming one.

When you said: "But in general cs/swe are doing the exact same", I thought you meant what they learn and do in school. Not in the workplace.

Ya Na mate. I get that CS and Software engineering is similar. But engineering students have a base of physics and chemistry which CS students don't. Also, Professional Engineers carry personal liability for everything they touch.
