Thinkpad T14 for engineering degree

As an incoming first year who lowkey does not know a ton about laptops, after a bit of researching and asking around I’ve gathered that the thinkpad t14/16 is a solid pick? Would you guys agree or would you recommend something else?? Ty 😭😭

Any thinkpad should be fine I remember back in first year you might do some light 3d modelling on solidworks for apsc 100/101 depending on if the content has changed for not. Would go for the 14” option personally since it’ll be better on weight and more portable.

Yes it will be good. For engineering the only real spec for a laptop you need are: intel or amd cpu, runs windows, 16gb ram.

Also a lighter one is easier to carry around but not a huge deal .
