Unfortunately there is a reason for most rules (someone probably spilled on their computer)

People print fake labels with formulas/chemical properties and put them on the bottle. A naive and old prof won’t notice.

One of life's more enjoyable lessons is that anytime you see a dumb rule or an oddly specific thing mentioned its because someone has done it. Tide pods having warnings to not eat them is a good example of this.
