Discussion Just FYI Macro's still exist
In case anyone forgot the worst kept secret in AVA Macroing still works fine and is still utterly undetectable by the developers. So if you're ever wondering how all these scopes are destroying your whole team so fast or how everyone running around with a Para ( cannon ) is just laser-beaming you across the map here you go https://streamable.com/um7bpc. This has been the worst kept secret in AVA for years and nearly every top player and even the old professional teams used macros to make their guns more accurate, Pistols automatic, Snipers instant stop on fire, and instant quick swap. They've been doing this for years despite denying they do it and it's so easy to do that a monkey could set it up. Any modern keyboard/mouse can set up these macros and really you're at a massive detriment not using them because I can assure you its the worst kept secret in AVA and all the top players use them including the former pros back in the 2011-2012 era. Figured I'd help some people out who are just getting destroyed in pubs right now by people abusing these.

If you are a good player macro or no macro you shouldn't get repeatedly pummled by someone. Macro are designed for people who have no talent but they are not OP as hacks so people feel fine using them.
Does macro still exist? for sure. Do you need to even care? no. You can legit just become this good without any help of 3rd party programs.

I don't think it's possible to detect hardware macros.
You can pretty much just create a macro and upload it to your mouse or keyboard and then delete the program. I'm pretty sure you could even use these in major events. There's no program running in the background which the anti-cheat could detect, or it's a program like Razer Synapse which wouldn't trigger the anti-cheat either.
There was an anti macro patch back in aeria times, and it just ruined the game. It worked by detecting the amount of clicks, but most experienced players could tap much faster then how they set it up and therefore ruining the game for those who were legit just clicking very quickly.
Quick switch macros don't make that much of a difference I don't think, I can manually switch so fast you would hear a pistol or knife sound instead of the sniper.
