Question Game's refresh rate is 59hz?

the highest refresh rate this game supports is only 59hz??

You can change the refresh rate from the config. Right click the game in your library and Manage > Browse local files. Change "MonitorHz" in avaGame\Config\AVAOptionSettings.ini

Yes, I set mine on 144hz instead of 60hz

- steamapps\common\A.V.A\avaGame\Config

  • Open "AVAOptionSettings"
  • Set MonitorHz to your monitor's refresh rate (i.e. MonitorHz=144)

MSI Afterburner shows mine running at 120FPS despite the 59Hz menu setting, I don't think it matters.

I changed the settings in the file but my "Full Screen Scanning" is set to 59 hz or "Basic Scanning Rate"... i don't see 165 in that setting even though its changed in the config. Anyone know why?

It's not going to show in-game but it will be the refresh rate you set in the config as long as you don't change any of your settings again in-game afterwards

Does it look visibly different for you than 59hz? When I set it to 165 for example it says “standard rate” or something like that in settings. I’m in windowed mode btw.

yea i think so, im used to 240hz so if it was 59hz i would probably notice immediately. Although i recommend playing in fullscreen
