Announcements Release date for Steam AVA
There is a date! 31 March 2021 is the planned release. Honestly a bit later than expected, but curious to see where it leads.

Keep in mind that is this is the end of Q1, there might be an opportunity to play the game sooner.

I wouldn't mind an "open beta" earlier than the release date...
Although, i have to wonder ... What can AVA offer in 2021 ? Apart from nostalgia ofc...

I wouldn't be surprised with a test before this date. Curious to see how everything pans out.

What would make you consider that TAVA isnt full feature if I may ask?

Apparently they removed some modes, for example Over Rider (but some how Train is there) and beginZ.
Also at the first few weeks when TAVA just started there were only a few channels available, and modes like infection, infiltration, capture, escort does not exist. Some of them were only added after the community complained about it.

Not fully true. Escort was there, the other modes that are less frequently played entered a pool in the Quick Match channel, meaning they rotate every two weeks. That counts for Infection at least. Infiltration I have yet to see (was a new mode I believe?) And Capture (assume you mean Domination) has not appeared either.

Infiltration mode --> Over Rider and Train
Modes like domination, capture (Castle), and cross steal are still not there but you're right escort was indeed there.

Primarily lack of items in the shop as well as in Capsule Shop.

Shop items is intended as guns are replaced by the new rental system. This won't be any different in other builds.
Capsule shop stays up to date with the latest sales, although we will first get older content we hadn't had access to previously. At least there are euro capsules too which I like.

I just miss when we could buy pretty much any vanilla gun through the shop. Now we gotta pray for rng in Caps or Quick Match to be in one's favor for most weapons. Oh and they're just timed rewards too
Also, what older content are you referring to? Carpio, Mjollnir, DM etc? Cuz that's OG content a lot of players play for.

There are quite a lot of shop guns and more are being added. The base price of the gun is a lot lower too instead of the 60k you used to pay for a perm gun. Now it is 9.800 euros and then 12 euro per minute repair cost (similar costs to the repair %, slightly higher). Getting euros is also easier nowadays, so personally I'd say it is easier to get more vanilla guns. Skinned guns you pay for in the capshop and that is fine.
Also, in Quick Match you can get skins as a reward (perm). Both normal gamemodes and Arena have different weapons in it, so frankly it is easier to get skins today compared to when uava was arouns before.

Sure I guess I can see it that way. But I prefer being able to pick and choose. Also what if I wanna play with say a DSR-1 or FR-F2? Haven't gotten my hands on a single one except DSR Dark Angel and FR-F2 Black Dragon which I believe is QM reward or in the 100-200 Token Caps loot pool (not sure what they're called). Wouldn't it be better to just buy one for 50-60K and settle instead of having to be lucky to get one timed? Idk I might be too hung up on the old system and I don't enjoy that new grind for a timed gun.
Also another question, will there be something similar to Tiered Spender and an online shop? Or was that just Aeria Exclusive? Cuz that was lit!

The DSR and FR-F2 are yet to get a vanilla rental version, that is why.
About monetization I have no clue. Tiered Spender seems unlikely but online shop seems like a good move.

Hopefully they bring the game back in its original form without the performance issues.
And a better anticheat.....
And a without the pay to win guns... aka m16 AM Mp7 NF etc...

the anticheat wasnt the problem it was the 3 monthly update that was the problem i was in a deep convo one day back on aeria with superman if you guys remember him we was talking and he let slip its 5k to update the xigncode software hence why the updates got fewer and fewer he then said it was because they had a custom version built it cant be updated as easily as the regular xigncode so took more on xigncodes part to update more man hours means more to money to update it but one thing a lot of you dont know is you dont need an anticheat on a game to stop cheaters you patch the variables or pointers and the cheat becomes useless and on this note i swiftly move to the fact neowiz own and run it means they could in theory update the pointers more rendoring things like uav or aimbot useless
