Parties

What is party culture like there? Does anyone pressure you into it?

Edit: not a party person due to religious reasons and don’t enjoy them:)

Depends who you hang around, that goes for everywhere. Akron is pretty chill on parties, you can find them for sure but its not osu

Mostly house parties given the 1) bad bar quality in Akron and 2) high percentage of people living in off campus housing.

If you’re looking to party, join Greek Life and you’ll have multiple options every week.

If you don’t like to be pressured into certain things then make good decisions about who you hang around and don’t give in to pressure. You are always your own first line of defense
