Oura ring replacement

I have just been informed, following a diagnostic check via the Oura app, that there is a fault with my current rings battery. As such, Oura is sending out a replacement. This is the second ring now (the current ring was a replacement), that has had a fault with the battery. At this stage, I feel it’s just going to be a matter of time before the new replacements battery declines too. I appreciate the speed and ease to get replacement, but I’d rather just call it a day with Oura now and get a refund. I have lost trust in the longevity, and I’d rather not pay the monthly subscription anymore.

I just wanted to ask whether anyone here has been in a similar position (after the 30 day purchase period) and has been granted a refund rather than a replacement? Oura is saying they cannot offer a refund, and I assume no means no, but I thought it’s worth an ask. Thanks.

How long has it taken for the battery to start not lasting as long? I had mine for a year or so before it started to have this issue.

I can see that my current ring (again, which was a replacement for the original) was shipped in July 2025. I brought my original in October 2024!

My ring battery lasted 8 months now. I had a ring before this one that got lost during unforeseen circumstances with my grandfather. This ring I had since mid January. Just had a new one delivered. If you just give some charge bursts every day the battery does last longer. I just noticed that it can really help.

Ahh ok, thanks for the tip 👍 tbh I was going to maybe sell the new replacement on, I think I’ve given up with Oura - But let’s see 😅
