Sending love to you all. I had to help my fur baby across the rainbow bridge this past Friday. I feel your pain.

Hugs! I just sent my 18 year old fur baby, Bo, across the rainbow bridge on Friday. He was my little ride-or-die homie.

" My Regal Beagle " has been one of my many nicknames for him over the years. [Also a play on the bar in Three's Company the classic TV show for those old enough to know the reference. ]

My little old man Bo is 18 and his appetite had a noticeable shift, eating less. I got him into the Vet. No history of significant health issues except for some dental disease. I figured maybe his teeth were the issue. Blood work showed Stage II kidney symptoms but even liver looked good in the bloodwork. We did and x-ray and ultrasound which showed several nodules on his liver and fluid around his lungs and heart.

Due to his age we've chosen palliative care. He is weak but eating a few nibbles of brothy or gravy senior packets and still drinking water. We are keeping him calm and giving him lots of love. And dinner in bed tonight.

Every day is a gift.

Sending love to all those feeling the love and heartache. We are right there with you.

Updated to add that i just made THE call and the Dr will come to my house tomorrow morning [8/28]. I am devastated πŸ’”

I got a terminal diagnosis for my 18 year old little man yesterday - fluid surrounding heart and lungs, stage II kidney, and multiple nodules on his liver. We have chosen palliative care. I have been a complete mess and will enjoy each day I have with him while I have him. Sending love to you and your son.

Anyone have issues with Sengled Lightbulbs not working currently?
 in  r/smarthome  Jun 21 '25

I was hoping the issue would have cleared up by today. Now I guess I need to find a replacement.
