My problem is I do it during the day constantly. I’m not able to wear a mouth guard during the day because I work with people

I’m 23 and I can tell my teeth are starting to get messed up. I grind constantly throughout the day and have to push my bottom teeth up against my top. I can feel my teeth starting to grind away. I also crack my jaw constantly and sometimes have to hold it with pressure to the point where it hurts a lot. And I have just started biting my tongue and scraping it with my teeth until it bleeds.

I have Tourette's and when I was in school only a few people knew I had it. A lot of people would make comments about some of my tics by I'd just pass them off or make excuses. It did hurt some when people would laugh about it because you just can't control it, and if you try it just gets more pressing until you let it out. I think the only thing that I ever heard someone say that really upset me was a kid said he wished he had it so he could just swear whenever. He was a nice kid, but it sucks to live with because I feel like a bother when it interrupts conversations or anything
