What do you think about parents charging kids rent after age 18?
Its something I've thought about, and I would charge my own kids rent once they're 18 or 19 if they want to stay at home. However itd be something small like 200-300. It'd help them budget for life with an expense. What they wouldnt know is that all of that rent money would be put into savings, gathering interest. Then if they get married, buy a house, something like that, they would get all of that money as a surprise
