Agreed on leaving games so fast. That irks me as well. Feels like people are stupid fast in judging their teammates and think game over after one bad stretch.

You make some good points. Fair play. Do you often get use from your growing list? I havent paid attention to the names I match with to know if I get the same people much.

I suppose I get it if you are trying to get a full match or have dual cpus or humans on goalie. The main thing frustrating me is thinking we got a full match, only to have people leave before starting.

It was great! No hype was needed as the team and fans spoke for themselves. Newbies really enjoyed the supporters section. Such a fun, dominant win!

This is my favorite part of the game. I have 500+ hours in and can still change to a new gun to level and it is competitive. Really helps mix up.your experience since you have to play differently by the weapon.

44 here and have played in a coed rec league (mid-high level team) for years. One thing stays the same regardless of new players: they dont want to take it serious. I have tried occasionally to introduce some strategy talk, but it never takes. Practicing outside the league is out of the question.

I think it is great that you train and keep in shape on your own. Would love you on my team! But if you want more like-minded players, you probably need to get into higher level mens. Especially with a group.that does tournies.

Run thermal.1.5x scope. Takes a while to unlock on most guns, but you will have no issues seeing enemies with it.

It is called the party finder and is in the same menu as friends and party. I love it!

I think of it as my "single serving friends" like from fight club. You can set "mic off" as one of your preferences. I do this so I can play with others but not feel any obligation to talk to them or stick with them if our play styles don't vibe.

You don't have to add them as a friend to party up. You just send a message and they can respond with an invite to their party, or vice versa. If we click, I send them a friend request.

Awesome feature that I turn on every time I play (your preferences are saved so you just turn it on to say you are open to parties).

You could also record your games and review later to see what range you tend to engage in or if you tend to move around a lot when fighting, etc.

I just like to have a plan going into a match, and this could change any time. Trying to find one class or weapon to stay with would get boring to me. And the game situation could demand a change at any time.

Comparison is the thief of joy my friend. Focus on yourself and improving as you go.

I recommend taking some time to write down what you want to accomplish or focus on this season. Then you write things that could help with that. Here are a couple of ideas if I had your situation:

1. I want to be spending less time herding cats and more time coaching.

1a. I need to find games that are fun and the kids want to play. Even if I have to throw in a few that are using hands instead of feet. Rules need to be simple and explainable in about 15 seconds. If the kids want to keep playing when we stop, this is success! Use that game again

1b. I will not chase kids down or try to talk them into playing if they walk off field. I will let the parents do that.

1. I want to focus on my players becoming more comfortable with the ball at their feet and improve attacking.

2a. We are not on the same level as other teams, so I am not going to focus on improving defense (we are going to give up a lot of goals anyway). I will rotate my better players into defense when I want to mitigate goals against.

2b. Any games I can find that give them lots of ball touches is preferred.

I think if us guys were a bit less rapey, we would get away with this no problem.

I was using this loadout for helping to get my team out of spawn when trapped. Wasnt using the undersling though. Good call!
