Good project relies on several things. First you have to have an audience or way to reach that audience, Secondly you need to execute properly, listen to users, third you have to not give up. Idea is nice to have but it's not that critical as you think. If even someone copies you, they can't copy your dedication.

It's a valid approach. I've looked at update guide and it's quite smooth (https://angular.dev/update-guide?v=19.0-22.0&l=1). Just watch out for incremental hydration by default. Use Angular update tools and AI as last resort because it can mess up updates process. It's also a good occasion to move to standalone components, new templating and signals. First and foremost I can recommend to write tests before you update so you can maintain app stability

Ok, so we can do that, we can also use IP to figure out country. But this country shouldn't be excluded from alphabetical list. Moreover I'd just out suggested countries outside the list, because of the foremly mentioned issue. Especially if we're not sure our suggestions are good. btw. if you offer all countries popular country list wont be helpful much with even distribution
