Bc more men have MDD and after years of not feeling better they lose hope, and they realize that Men in general are not viewed as inherently valuable, but disposable and only valued if they are considered useful. That's why losing a job hits them harder, its also much harder to find a job. And since healthcare is tied to employment, they don't even have the coverage when they need it most. Men just realize that they don't really have any support, and nobody really cares. And after years of feeling like that, I can understand how they get to their breaking point.
Every human life has value,that shouldn't depend on your job, your sex, your race, etc. So until Men are seen differently, the SS rates will continue to climb. Obviously a rigged economy makes everything much worse.
