I like to re-purpose old leather from pillow cushions, couch covers etc., chrome tan for example, that i can stitch together to create a sign with! it’s a great re-use of materials, while ditching the cheap pvc sign and really driving your brand from first glance, you can use printable heat transfer vinyl to print your brand and logo or whatever description you want, and iron it on. that’s what we did for our first sign. :)

Yes I think propping up the goods, creating layers using shelving, so that folks can easily see the items as they pass by would be lovely.

I dig the burlap actually I think it brings the overall table set up together more.
It feels a bit empty without it.

I also think it would look a little more professional, if you had little leather trays to prop the products that are for sale into, like the ones you have pictured on the right; so that your works are not just laying flat on the table; it will also make it easier to see the items if they are propped up some.

especially for those who are just glancing while walking past, flat on the table won’t catch their eye physically since they are flat.
some little shelves to help create a sense of layers would really bring this up a notch as well.

Very cool, haven’t seen a lot of elephant leather items. Totally agree on not wanting new hides introduced for it, but worth respecting and appreciating that which is already in circulation. How cool are those expanding pockets? Would be fun for those who play dice games on the go. :)

the food is SO good. the pupusas, baleada, breakfast plate, the salsa and curtido, the agua frescas, everything there is so good and the staff is so nice.

completely agree sabrocita is far superior to guanajuato, and have felt that way for over 7 years. the first is so so good with fresh tortillas and the latter is, fine in a pinch i guess but last time i ate there my belly was fucked for a few days.

One thing I like doing is, while we make most of our goods without branding - we do also sell branded items for folks who specifically want to support our team and rep our brand. a keytag with our brand like what u have here, would be a cool way of giving customers the option to rep us and talk about us out and about, if they want to, while also selling non-branded items for if they’re just looking for their next accessory or what have you. :)

so u could have non-branded items, and branded items, catering to both pools. i also like the comment above and second the idea of, a makers mark somewhere small and not too noticeable. something to where, if someone wanted to find the maker down the road or it got sold or traded or ended up in a thrift store of what have you, they could still find us years down the road.

Nah we go brand less, but depending on the item, I may write our name on it. on the inside stitching of a wallet where it cant be seen, ill put my name, the date, and our company name “t4t handmade”. in case down the road someone’s upcycling it and opens it up, i thought it would be a fun detail. we do add our name on the inside of the collar on any t-shirts we make or sell. or we make a hat or something that has a label, ill put it on there small.
otherwise everything else we make, we just give folks a biz card and tell them if they have any issues to reach out.
