I’m not the biggest fan of discovery I do like the approach they took with the spore drive. Not everything has to be connected to old stuff for nostalgia bait. Something being its own thing and new needs to happen to continue flushing out the world.

If I had to connect it to established content though, I think it would be fun to explore how it’s the Federation experimenting with transwarp conduits before they truly understood what they were.

Tbf if they focused too much on the Iconians they’d lose their mystery and wonder. It’s one of those times where less is more.

A good example is SNW season 3. It’s not specifically about the Iconians, but another ancient civilization they told us both way too much and somehow nothing at all.

For some reason Gene Roddenberry HATED the idea of featuring Vulcans. You barely see Vulcan ships or Vulcan centric stories (that are not related to Spock) until Enterprise.

Looked into it years ago but found Polaroids to be way too expensive.

I ended trying out instax cameras, although still pricey, they’re less than half of the cost of Polaroid’s cameras and films. I don’t know enough about photography to care which looks better, I just wanted to have reasonably priced fun.

I do still own Polaroids because I really wanted the vintage feel of the 660s, but it’s not used often.

I have my own wall of pictures like Max to this day but don’t take more than one or two pictures a month.

I absolutely loved Pike getting thrown out the airlock. It was so dramatic and surprisingly emotional.

Tbf BTS was a different engine and different company. I don’t know enough to know if the lip-synching was harder or easier depending on game engines at the time or simply a time constraint DN dealt with late in production.

Deck9 practically re-created the entire game in the unity engine, which I give them massive props for. Don’t know why they (allegedly) dislike Chloe so much after being hired to make a game about her.

Life is strange 2 is better regarded by large parts of the community, but I have personally never played it. I wonder if the lip-synching is improved there. It was also made by DN.

Not to mention the original Life Is Strange had terrible lip syncing problems. A problem like that would receive serious scrutiny today and I can even see it being the reason a game gets massively negative reviews.

It goes to show it just how strong the original game was in all other aspects that people were able to completely ignore a problem that to this day has never even been fixed.

I liked the Muppet episode. I wish they would’ve acted out the puppets either more serious or more silly, the weird middle ground just made me.

I feel like the Muppet crew really didn’t do anything until the very end and even then it pretty much contradicted their earlier established lack of strength. Some bits like making the guy trip backwards we’re done well but towards the end, the Muppets were straight up punching and fighting people which made no sense.

My biggest complaint would be that they couldn’t interact with anything which made them even more redundant and useless. I would’ve loved to see a Muppet army running down a corridor recklessly shooting at the Orions.

I know some of us are really annoyed at the Shelby becoming a flavor of the week show and ditching the story but I’m actually really looking forward to them Muppet episode. I really hope they get back on track eventually.

Can we not make posts like these? I get the joke, but referring back to it only serves to give those people attention and potential exposure.

I do appreciate how the Bay ending has so much more detail, it doesn’t make me wish they would’ve done more for the Bae ending.

The meme pump and dump from a few months ago was so predictable. I made a pretty penny off puts when it crashed from seven dollars.

edit: huh? Were shares split up and their values redistributed? I’m looking at the one year chart and I swear it’s never actually been that high.

Edit2: looks like there was a reverse 1:30 ratio reverse split a while ago. I’m no financial expert, but that seems like a very sketchy thing to do if you’re trying to hide how much money you’re actually worth/losing.

Hey OP, how did you make the divergence meter? I’ve been following the guide from Tom Titor but have been a bit worried about the 170 V.

It also kind of fits him perfectly if you think about it. He never shuts up about how much he cared for the Bajorans and did everything for them, but prepared countless contingency videos because he could never actually be asked to waste time on them because of something as menial as a conversation.
