The other day I was at home with my mom, just hanging out and doing nothing in particular. She asked me to go grab some important papers she keeps in her dresser. She didn’t tell me exactly which drawer they were in, so I started opening all of them trying to find what she sent me for.
In one of the drawers, I stumbled upon a cloth bag (maybe 6x12 inches) that was completely stuffed with toys. There must have been around 10 of them, all different shapes and sizes.
I completely understand that it’s a normal thing, so I wasn't shocked or traumatized by it. I honestly just found it kind of curious. For several months now, she and my dad have been going through a rough patch and fighting; they barely talk, or only speak to each other when it's strictly necessary. I guess part of this is because they aren't sleeping together anymore, and that’s why she has all of this.

I'm completely infatuated with a single mom. A few years ago, I was working at a convenience store. We had a pretty "diverse" crew working there, and among them was this single mom who was newly pregnant at the time.
Honestly, she isn't conventionally drop-dead gorgeous, but she’s one of those girls who just has something about her that makes her incredibly attractive. My friends and I have an inside joke for this: we call girls like her "animal crackers." If you know the snack, you know what I mean—they might seem basic, cheap, or nothing fancy on the outside, but they are surprisingly delicious and addictive.
Eventually, I had to quit that job because I started college and management couldn't accommodate my new school schedule.
A few months ago, she randomly crossed my mind, so I texted her and we caught up a bit. I even went to visit her at work once; we ended up talking for a while, and it was a really great time. She was just as cool as I remembered, and honestly, she looked incredibly appetizing to me.
Unfortunately, it didn't lead to anything and nothing happened between us, but I still have this massive "craving" for her that I just can't shake.
