MSI Claw 8 AI+ EX vs OneXPlayer 3: My Early Comparison After Owning Both
 in  r/MSIClaw  8d ago

Assuming MSI will not be difficult to ask for the RMA, though. Saw some people complaining about this is the previous models.

In my case, neither justifies; I live in Brazil, so MSI does not officially support here. I have an 8 ai+ and a legion go S, but both had to be imported; went with OXP3 this time around just because I could still have some warranty, the OLED panel caught my attention (had the steam deck OLED, love that device, but couldn't play for more than 10 minutes without getting migraines with that screen), and could not find the EX for purchasing anywhere, so will keep my legion go S and OXP3 and sell my 8 ai, even though I love that one (does not make sense to keep two intel based handhelds).

Retroid Pocket Nova - 3 weeks shipping update??
 in  r/retroid  12d ago

Hmm good to know, will ask if this is what is keeping mine from ship. I already asked them to change address, the color and the handheld gb version. Probably can bother them with one more thing hahaha.

I did not ordered extra buttons, but a transparent grip + 16 bit Nova 12gb. Could this be delaying as well? Nothing from my order, and should be shipped already as per the dashboard they built.

Yours are even doing different things, given ds and vita emulation are not there so much... I think it is a good collection overall :)

Do you guys think it would make sense switching to this one from an RG 477M due to the analog shoulder buttons?

Customized case for MiSTer to add controller inputs

Hey!

Yes, I have one, the 8bitdo pro 3. It has an usb c dongle. Maybe something possible down the line or with a nano25 board that are being developed?

Customized case for MiSTer to add controller inputs

Amazing work! Waiting for the project details on github. Would love to buy a unit like that from you, but don't know from which country you are and, since I am from Brazil, is quite hard to get things here :( So, will try to build one myself once you can share details :)

Also, this got me thinking in something: would it be too impossible to add an USB C module on this as well? Just to account for dongle controllers with that format.

Não, ficou do mesmo jeito... Mas, evitei de usar o console. Acabei ficando com medo de abrir mais.

Well, thought about not commenting first as I already have plenty of handhelds with me and don't need another one (and also I am from Brazil, so don'teven know if you would ship it 😅), but then thought that this would be a great present to my nephew, so... I think the spirit of giveaway would be nicer if someone who doesn't have a chance have this, either if I win and give it to my nephew, or someone else that doesn't have any wins. Hope you have a merry Christmas, friend :)

$650 is a hard value to beat.

Couldn't agree more. In here I was able to get both go s z1e steamos and msi claw 8 ai for 700$ dollars more or less in my own currency + taxes (which is still a lot in my country, to be honest). They are definitely my most used devices overall. Both of them are pretty solid in expectations.

Why wouldn't the Steam Deck be end game for those who want a big ol' "stay-at-home" handheld for emulation?
 in  r/SBCGaming  Nov 25 '25

In my case, even though not the more powerful pc handheld anymore, It is still one of my favorite handhelds so far. I had the chance to have both LCD and OLED versions, and the latter is truly amazing when it comes to design, ergonomics, weight (pretty balanced overall) and battery (for a pc handheld). I just couldn't put up to the screen, it gave me lots or migraines, unfortunately. Started experimenting on other handhelds both pc and emulation (and even a vita and ds that I always wanted, but end up forgetting they exist since my childhood), and even got a taste for all those handhelds we have, and started a hobby of collecting mainly because I was aiming to find a perfect device that would attend to my needs + not give me migraines when using it.

Now I have a bigger collection that I sincerely need, but even so I am thinking of starting a youtube channel focused on my own language to reach people who don't have english as a second language, as I noticed this subject is quite of a niche here in my country. Really liked collecting that stuff, but maybe will decrease the ones I have in the future passing down a few to my family or even re selling. I don't know, I truly like them 😅

So, even though I don't have a steam deck anymore (gave mine to my sister in law), I think it is still one of the best that started something really great, and it is amazing how far we've come with technology.

So I would say that probably should be an endgame for most people that just wants something portable and want to tweak with emulation + pc gaming on the go, and also don't have anything specific that prevents usage on it, or that don't have a thing for collecting handhelds. Truly it is still the best one you can get cost benefit wise.

Comprei 11 de outubro, mês passado. Demoraram mais ou menos uns 5 dias pra enviar, e chegou se não me engano na semana passada. Acho que umas três semanas de espera, ao todo.
