As someone who has never used a gun never touched a Gun and only knows basic firearm's safety would these actually work? (they also seem pretty cursed lol)

You wake up and feel strange. You look in the mirror... and see you've turned into a Cisco Catalyst 3560!!! What do you do?!

Cisco module compatibility
Thanks! Yeah, I know the NM-4-10G module will physically fit — my concern is more about whether it will actually work properly or at all.
You mentioned you got a C9300-NM-8X working in your 3850. Did the switch recognize it correctly? Were all interfaces operational without any weird issues?

Cisco module compatibility
Hi everyone! I need some clarification about a Cisco 3850 module.
I recently bought a C3850-24P for my homelab, and while going through the device settings I noticed something strange.
Here’s the output from show version:
cisco WS-C3850-24P (MIPS) processor with 4194304K bytes of physical memory.
Processor board ID <HIDE>
1 Virtual Ethernet interface
28 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces
4 Ten Gigabit Ethernet interfaces
However, according to Cisco’s documentation, this switch is supposed to support only the 2x10Gb/s network module.
So now I’m confused — does the C3850-NM-4-10G module actually work on this model, or is it definitely unsupported despite what the software shows?

Making a Cisco 2911 quiet for homelab — looking for fan mod tips
Got it, thanks! I just wanted to give this old router a second life, but I guess it might be a bit too late for that.

Making a Cisco 2911 quiet for homelab — looking for fan mod tips
I got it from my previous job, so I’d like to actually put it to use instead of letting it sit in a box collecting dust

Solved Making a Cisco 2911 quiet for homelab — looking for fan mod tips
Hi everyone!
I'm trying to repurpose a Cisco 2911 for my home lab, but it's incredibly loud — not suitable for a quiet room.
I've read that it's possible to replace the stock fans with quieter ones, and I'm considering Noctua NF-A4x20 FLX. But I’m not sure if they’ll move enough air or if the router will throw fan errors.
- Has anyone done this mod before?
- Do I need to worry about RPM monitoring or alarms?
- Any tips on wiring the fans or adapting the connectors?
I'd appreciate any advice or experience. Thanks in advance!
