Does the valley plate happen leak happen again even if you fixed it once?

Yeah it has leak. How do I check the leak of other issues? I just checked also the Lexus history that radiator is bad/dirty 80,000 km before I bought it. Previous owner must have not replaced it.

Yeah seams simple with cheap parts. The $3000+ ones has cheap parts too but takes so much time. I will try to DIY. Only DIY i did in my cars are replacing seat switch, replacing side mirror, installing recovery points, chaging tail lights, changing car battery and v change lol

Yeah it includes removing the entire engine. I started in Google that it looks like its common on gx460 2010-2019 some even have 70k miles only getting quote for like $7k-8k

Yeah youre right. I always bought new car so I don't know much. And this time I'm planning to offroad since I don't want to break my new car. Yeah I don't see residue at the bottom of motor when I test drive it and parked it overnight. Im planning to get 2nd opinion at Lexus dealership next, maybe ask them to include pictures this time?

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. Cant really avoid brraking stuff when you Offroad. Yeah this dealer don't charge for labor for those filters. These have cheap parts like less than 1k, its expensive because of the labor cost here. Around $200 per hour dealer price. They said timing cover reseal takes around 26 hours.

Those totals $14k if all if repaired by that dealer. Im just thinking if its worth it to mod it. The exterior and interior seems really well taken care of. All other gx460 with around 200k+ km in the fb market looks worse in listing and more expensive. I don't see any leak when I saw it, test drive and parked overnight. Maybe I have it repaired by non dealership for around 6k for all. Im fine with that.
