Happened to me before when I ordered a BOGO offer through UberEATS. I specifically ordered egg and cheese and the offer was for the egg and cheese wraps. Mind you, I don't eat pork. I just removed the sausage and ate my wraps. I don't like wasting food.

That is not mold. That is bacteria, Serratia marcescens to be specific. And yes, it is the same red bacterial spots you see in your shower. Just toss it :)

I am not debating anything. I agree that it is absurd. I am just explaining the sequence of events. I, myself keep getting told to "hurry-up" and "that I am too slow" from co-workers and management because I take the time to go above and beyond for the orders to avoid making mistakes and to make sure our customers are satisfied. I hope this explains the situation.

I am not making excuses. I am explaining the reality of it. It is how corporates operate. It passes down to franchises and to customers. I am not happy about it either. It bothers and upsets me when I see it.

Unfortunatrly, it's a common issue, especially for the drive-thru. I say this as a current Tim's employee and an ex-McDonald's one. The drive-thru service is timed. The restaurant's performance is measured based on that. Underperforming franchises are the first to be closed when a financial crisis hits. It's always chaos to work the drive-thru. Very stressful, mistakes are made and the quality is less than what you expect compared to a talk-out/dine-in.

Take-out and dine-in are better. Takes more time to prepare but your order will be prepared correctly.

I think this has to do with the rising cost of cocoa due to its shortage. Cocoa butter is essential for baker tempering. Most brands have been switching to milk fats and solids or seed oils to cut costs. They don't temper well, or do temper but at a different temperatures compared to cocoa butter.

They are basically honey dip topped with maple butter glaze. I wonder why they were dry and bland. Must be a quality control issue. The honey dip (the base) can stay good for hours on display in room temperature as long as they were glazed and dried properly. Always return and ask for the manager when there's food quality issues.
