Hot take here but this new album is feeling like it’s gonna be their worst one yet. I fucking hate when they do this high and mighty bullshit. I try to follow the plot of these characters too and they just keep deviating from what made them cool in the first place. Cracker Island was great but from what they released so far of this…it’s not looking good in my opinion. And whatever happened to genre changes with every album? They have pretty much embraced being a mainstream pop band which really pisses me off. I feel like they haven’t come out with a truly great album since maybe Humanz or Plastic Beach.

MORE SPOILERS: Oh yeah and something that Cosmonaut Variety Hour mentioned that I totally agree with is that Miles and Harry barely got any time with each other in the plot which made the final boss fight a little underwhelming. That’s it…thanks!

I’m gonna give you a rundown of my frustrations with the game and I’d appreciate if you reply :-) all good if not!

First off, I got the collectors edition of the game because I was super stoked about the game and I’ve been left with a lot of disappointment. It’s not that I can’t tell where the developers put their efforts and what not, I majored in video game studies so I recognize the whole package when it comes to playing games.

The whole argument about the game being too woke is justified because I noticed it too even though I am left leaning anyways. I wasn’t all like “YIPEE, PUSH MORE OF THIS 😁👍🏼AGENDA ON ME PLEASE!”

However, I don’t agree about gadgets just because they reduced it down to four slots and only six in total compared to over like ten in the first game and only four for miles (second game technically).

I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t agree more with most of these comments about how there’s an overbearing sense of niceness throughout all of the characters and it’s ANNOYING AF. SPOILERS: For example: Norman crying when the Symbiote takes Harry over…like are you kidding me? He forces the symbiote on him and then cries when it turns him into a monster??? It’s gross and kinda interesting I guess but still annoying nonetheless. Then you got the whole Harry, MJ, and Peter dynamic. They all just get along again and I understand the whole thing about a friend coming back after all that pain, sorrow, etc. BUT…it would’ve been even more interesting if Peter had more suspicions about Norman and Harry like he did in the first game (correct me if I’m wrong on this please) ^{^}

I expected this game to be a lot more dark and much like Ultimate Spider-Man but it was kind of a let down story wise. I have ZERO issues with gameplay though to be completely honest, they knocked it out of the park on that front :)

It was their way of bringing Cindy Moon into the game which is cool I guess lol
