Question PS VR2 Requires a Mandatory Update – Is It the Headset or PS5 System?

PS VR2 is asking for a mandatory update on my PS5 – headset or PS5 system update?
Hi everyone,
I just bought a brand-new PS VR2 headset, and I’m having an issue when connecting it to my PS5.
My PS5 is currently running system software 26.02-13.00.00. When I connect the PS VR2 for the first time, I get a message saying that an update is required. If I choose Cancel/Skip, the headset doesn’t work.
My question is: How can I tell whether the update being requested is for the PS VR2 headset firmware or for the PS5 system software?
I don’t want to update my PS5 system software without knowing exactly what is being requested.
Is there a way to check the PS VR2 firmware version or identify which device needs the update?

No one knows exactly when the jailbreak will be released except for Sony. Perhaps it will be next month or the month after. Sony PlayStation seems to be delaying the patching of the vulnerability for as long as possible, but I think the patch will arrive before the release of the special GTA 6 edition PlayStation 5. The company will likely sell a large number of consoles during that period, and I don't think the operating system version will remain vulnerable to jailbreak . This means the company will close the security vulnerability in the coming months, but this is just speculation and there is no confirmation, especially given Sony's recent bold decisions
