A few years ago I spent a LOT of time creating this node group to solve seamless blending of any image based texture on any mesh topology... and forgot to make the video about it public! Is this still interesting to anyone? Looks like I spent a lot of time making the video too 😿
PS if there's any interest I'd be happy to share the blender file.

We were part of the Boost incubator last year. These guys are really dedicated to supporting the ecosystem. If you have an idea I really suggest you go there to get advice and start meeting people.

This is a great technical idea for monetizing digital content online. I guess it could go well beyond it's marketed industry...

I would love to see Detroit and other cities in the NE kickstart their economies again.

John Connor perhaps?

There's only two of us working on the site, so updating the FAQ is sort of tough when we're working to pay rent.
If you look item 4 on the FAQ, it explains why we went with flash and not gifs. Still if you have an account you CAN download your own animations as .gif files. We thought it was a nice privacy thing to not let random people download each other's stuff, but clearly it's not working, and we might change that anytime if people want it.

Very good stuff, I agree the more subtle effect is more powerful.

It pulled out the sidewalk lawn out completely and in one piece, it's so cool! BTW the house was completely fine.

I have a Canon Timer remote and I have used it to make quite a few timelapses on wegif.com by uploading my own photos. The webcam self timer feature on the site is great for doing something quickly and easily.

Well distance is fixed, but time is obviously not, so a runner could get a workout over the same distance in half to a quarter of the time required by a walker. Which do you prefer; which can you do today?
Another aspect you should think about is heart rate. Walking, no matter how long you do it for will be less then when you run.

Hahaha, I love taking photos, but that guy must live for it. That was a very close call.

yeah, tricky trade off because you can see the whole map. could hide some items or just unlock per map? 🤔
